Eravikulam National Park
This is a sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr which is located at a distance of 15 km from Munnar. It spreads over an area of 97 sq km in the Rajamalai hills. Anamudi, the highest peak of South India towers over the sanctuary with majestic pride. The slopes of this hill are abundant in several kinds of rare flora and fauna which never fails to impress visitors of this place. The Nilgiri Langur, Lion-tailed macaque, leopards and tigers are the known inhabitants of this national park which fascinates visitors during their tour to this place.
